Elon Musk Admits To Cheating

Too much pressure for his vanity – Elon Musk admits cheating while playing video games, after gamers and YouTubers call him out.

Did you know that in North Korea, the leader Kim Yong Un played 12 hole-in-one the first time he laid his hands on a golf club? At least, that’s what North Koreans say.

Elon Musk’s long-time pretension to be one of the best gamers in the world has roughly the same level of credibility.

Elon Musk’s Gaming Streams

Gamers and influencers have called him out for weeks now, since more and more videos with Elon Musk playing emerged.

In these, Musk had streamed his online progress in games like Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 on Twitch.

It was utterly apparent that he didn’t know what he was doing. And the gambling community doesn’t respond well to cheaters.

Gamers Take Cheating Musk Apart

IRL streamers, gaming streamers, YouTube commentators, even political influencers as far away as Britain took to their streams and exposed Musk’s behavior.

Among others, penguinz0, Asmongold, Vaush, HasanAbi, and said English commentator A Different Bias all cringed when they watched excerpts from Musk’s stream, and they all agreed on one thing.

Musk must have had players level up his character, as his gambling skills would never get him to the levels his gaming characters have achieved.

For more detail, have a look at penguinz0’s caustic monologue on musk’s behavior.

Some gaming specialists like Quin69TV went deeper into Musk’s streams and were able to find plenty of evidence, too. Not proof, of course, but sufficient evidence.

So much in fact, that even Elon Musk and his plus-sized ego weren’t able to maintain the made-up story anymore. Seems that for some reason, it’s been important for Musk to look like he is a great video gamer.

And like so many Trump supporters, he got busted.

Elon Musk admits to cheating

Now Musk has chosen to admit that he used experiences gamers to level up. The reason he did that in a personal one-to-one conversation with a YouTuber with just 3k visitors is anyone’s guess.

“It’s impossible to beat Asian players if you don’t…”, he said in an attempt to wriggle himself out of this situation.

Now, it is consent in the gaming community that a businessman like Musk would indeed not have enough time to bring gaming characters up to such levels. In fact, that was one of the points the streamers made to prove he couldn’t have done that.

However, that is beside the point. Nobody expects Musk to be on the level of professional gamers. They just don’t expect him to lie about his skills, and so obviously.

While Musk’s interlocutor NikoWrex awkwardly tried to defend Musk’s behavior, the commenters were fast to act.

“This should be listed as a sponsored video.”, reads one of the top comments.

Maybe Musk should start playing and streaming slots. Surely, he would hit bonus rounds in each of his first twelve spins.
