After receiving a Transactional Waiver in New Jersey, Malta-based software developer Hacksaw Gaming continues to expand its footprint in North America and reach its second US target market, New Jersey. The software developer plans to go live in the state by the end of the fourth quarter. Hacksaw Gaming is the company that produced instant slot hits like Chaos Crew, Benny the Beer, and Immortal Desire.

After receiving this license, Hacksaw Gaming also announced a new partnership with DraftKings. This move expands Hacksaw Gaming’s reach to two US states, with West Virginia being the first state for the developer to start its US operations, partnering with BetRivers.

Hacksaw Gaming Expands into New Jersey through Multiple Partnerships

Hacksaw Gaming’s newly acquired New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement license allows it to join forces with any legally operating online casino currently running operations in the state.

The software developer has partnered with Light & Wonder, a Nevada-based developer, to distribute its casino games in the Garden State. Before this, Hacksaw Gaming also decided to use Light & Wonder’s distribution network in West Virginia. This marked the first legal offering of Hacksaw-developed games in the United States.

DraftKings is the only platform to have partnered with Hacksaw Gaming in New Jersey.

However, the company grew strongly in the United States within the past year. It would not be unexpected for Hacksaw Gaming to reveal newer partnerships in the Garden State in the near future.

According to Marcus Cordes, the CEO of Hacksaw Gaming, these two states are only the starting point of the company’s long-term expansion plans for the United States.

Future Prospects for Hacksaw Gaming

Hacksaw Gaming is a well-recognized name in various Latin American and European jurisdictions. However, it has yet to fortify its influence in the United States. The iGaming company was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Malta. The company saw its beginnings in creating scratchcard games with a mobile-first approach.

It entered the North American market in 2022 through the Canadian online casino industry. Hacksaw Gaming already has partnerships with various online casinos established in Ontario.

Hacksaw Gaming is now targeting the United States online casino market, with a recent launch in West Virginia in August 2023. As mentioned, the software developer plans to make its games available in New Jersey by the end of the year.

Cordes has expressed great enthusiasm for Hacksaw’s progress. He stated that the iGaming company is “unstoppable in its ventures,” expanding and gaining the recognition it deserves. He has expressed confidence that Hacksaw Gaming will continue to thrive in the United States market.

Hacksaw’s partnership with DraftKings means the availability of popular slot machine titles, such as “Wanted Dead or a Wild” and “Hand of Anubis.” Most of Hacksaw’s slot games are known to be highly volatile, with an average RTP value of around 96%. Besides online slot machines, Hacksaw has also developed many scratchcards and instant win games, which may be added to the DraftKings gaming library soon.
