Ever heard of the Nevada Black Book? This is the list of casino gamblers you don’t want your name on.

What Is The Nevada Black Book and How Did It Come To Be?

Looks like a pretty elusive list. Archie Karas’ story is one of the greatest that Vegas has ever written.

I can’t believe there is even a husband and wife on the list together.

That’s the Vegas version of Bonnie and Clyde for you.

36 names in 50 years doesn’t sound too bad, though.

There should probably be 36 different movies about these people.

Are these people banned worldwide?

It’s probably more about the casinos or casino chains.

Nah, they’re definitely banned all over VEgas, probably the US.

Actually, the casino ban covers the state of Nevada. Not more, not less.

As fascinating as it is, I wonder about data protection. Can you really just publish a list like this that everyone can access?

Intersting question. I think this would pose a problem in Europe, indeed. The risk that you would be put on a list unjustified is soemthing that would be considered. In the US, they don’t have that caution.

Still makes for some good stories, I’m sure. Would gladly read why these people were banned. There might be some elaborate scam stories here…

Actually, it would be pretty cool to have your name in there. Not going to Vegas anyway.

Does this only exist in NEvada though?
